Committee meetings – 7 p.m., third Tuesday of every month

In an effort to promote well conceived, high quality construction and architectural design, the Northern Liberties Urban Design Committee (UDC) is frequently asked by the NL Zoning Committee to review developers’ plans for new construction or renovations. The UDC is made up of volunteers who often have backgrounds in architecture, construction, design, or planning. UDC reviews often include discussion of materials, design impact on the pedestrian experience, environmental impact, and contextual issues regarding how specific projects will contribute to and not detract from the quality of life in our neighborhood.
