Want to hold your event
at the Community Center?

If you’re interested in renting the Community Center please contact Anne at awaginger@aol.com to determine if your desired date is available. Scheduling is subject to availability. After your date is confirmed please print out the reservation form, complete and send with a check (or cash) (all or half the fee) to hold your reservation. The check should be made out to NLNA. Mail both to NLNA, 700 N. Third, 19123 or put through our mail slot on the Fairmount Ave. side, in an envelope addressed to “Anne.”

Fees
The fee for a party or any event with food and drink (NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED) is $200. For a seminar, class, committee meeting, or the like the fee is $70. Local non-profits pay $50 for a seminar, class, or the like and $150 for an event where food and beverages are served. Contact Anne at awaginger@aol.com before submitting the reservation form to confirm your fee.

Usage Guidelines
Meeting organizers are responsible for all arrangements — food, beverage, and clean up). Please keep the event within the confines of the main room of the Community Center. The office area is off limits and use of office equipment is not allowed. The yard is not available for rental use.

The Community Center has neighbors and tenants. Please keep this in mind. No loud music. You are responsible for the conduct of your participants. Please bag your trash with consideration and make use of the recycling bins. Please take some time at the end of your event to clean up the space.

In case of fire please exit the building immediately and call 911.

The NLNA is not responsible for incidents or actions associated with your group’s use of the Community Center space.

PLEASE NOTE: If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail from the Rental Coordinator, Anne Waginger, your meeting has not been scheduled. You can contact her directly at awaginger@aol.com

Community Center Use: The completed Reservation Form must be submitted at least ten (10) days prior to the requested event date but no longer than two months before. Scheduling is subject to availability.

Meeting organizers are responsible for all arrangements (food, beverage, ice, deliveries, and clean up).

Please keep the event within the confines of the main room of the Community Center. The office area is off limits; use of office equipment is not allowed. The yard is also off limits.

Abuse of the space will result in your group no longer being welcome to use the Community Center for your events. If the alarm is triggered due to improper exit or entry a charge of $25 will be assessed.

The Community Center has neighbors and tenants. Please keep this in mind. No loud music. You are responsible for the behavior of your participants.

Wipe up any spills to protect the floors. Please report any problems.

The primary contact is solely responsible for leaving the Community Center in the condition it was found. Recycling bins, clearly labeled, are to be used for paper & plastic only. (No plastic bags or food)

Garbage bags can be placed outside the gray metal door. Extra bags are stored in the cabinet below the sink.

If you are using the space for a recurring meeting and have been given a key, the person opening up should disarm the system (after a brief orientation by office staff) and keep only the front door unlocked for your participants to use.

After everyone has left, turn off the lights and heat, and rearm the system before you, the last person exiting, leave the building (there is a 30 second delay before the alarm goes off).
