Want to hold your event
at the Community Center?
If you’re interested in renting the Community Center please contact Anne at awaginger@aol.com to determine if your desired date is available. Scheduling is subject to availability. After your date is confirmed please print out the reservation form, complete and send with a check (or cash) (all or half the fee) to hold your reservation. The check should be made out to NLNA. Mail both to NLNA, 700 N. Third, 19123 or put through our mail slot on the Fairmount Ave. side, in an envelope addressed to “Anne.”

Fees
The fee for a party or any event with food and drink (NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED) is $200. For a seminar, class, committee meeting, or the like the fee is $70. All local non-profits benefit from a half price rate of $35. When you submit the reservation form, a check (made out to NLNA) or cash for half the fee should accompany it.
Usage Guidelines
Meeting organizers are responsible for all arrangements — food, beverage, and clean up). Please keep the event within the confines of the main room of the Community Center. The office area is off limits and use of office equipment is not allowed. The yard is not available for rental use.
The Community Center has neighbors and tenants. Please keep this in mind. No loud music. You are responsible for the conduct of your participants. Please bag your trash with consideration and make use of the recycling bins. Please take some time at the end of your event to clean up the space.
If you are using the space for a recurring event and have been given a key, the person opening should disarm the system (after a brief orientation by office staff) and keep only the front door unlocked for your participants to use. After everyone has left, turn off lights and heat or AC, and rearm the system before you, the last person exiting, leave the building (there is a 30 second delay before the alarm goes off).
In case of fire please exit the building immediately and call 911.
