To get a free street tree for next spring, contact Northern Liberties Tree Tender coordinator Erika Goldberg at bgoldewag@verizon.net to learn if your home is eligible, and to get an application form. A hard copy of the form will be due to the NLNA Community Center office (3rd & Fairmount) by TODAY, Friday, October 19th. Neighborhood volunteers will plant the trees in April 2013.
To get a free yard tree, just order it from treephilly.org by October 19. Then you can pick it up Saturday, October 27, 2-4PM, at the NKCDC Garden Center, 1825 Frankford Ave. They’re free, and they’re some very nice species of trees!
