Liberty Land's has a free compost drop-off site! This volunteer-run program accepts compostable items every Saturday from 11am - noon. Our drop-off bins are on North 3rd St & West Wildey St.  Our compost program accepts: 

• Raw Fruits & Veggies (remove stickers)

• Tea Bags (no staples)

• Coffee Grounds

• Egg Shells

• Plain Brown Paper & Newspaper

• Peanut & Pistachio Shells

• Compostable Bags/Utensils (only if their packaging says "compostable at home")

The Liberty Lands' compost program is run by a team of dedicated volunteers -we could always use more hands! Every Saturday a couple of us operate our public compost shift from 11am-noon. During that time we tackle various compost pile tending tasks as well as well as accepting + weighing food scrap drop offs.
