Liberty Lands Committee
Liberty Lands Committee is open to anyone who would like to join. Meetings are the 2nd Thursday of the month at 7pm at the NLNA Community Center. The Liberty Lands Committee serves as the primary governing body dedicated to the stewardship and vibrancy of the park, overseeing both its physical integrity and its role as a community hub. Their responsibilities span the essential day-to-day operations and long-term maintenance required to keep the grounds safe and sustainable, alongside the strategic planning of all park-sponsored activities.
Beyond basic upkeep, the committee acts as a formal review board for the public, evaluating proposals for external events and addressing specific community needs to ensure that every use of the space aligns with the park’s mission and ecological health. Through this balance of rigorous facility management and thoughtful event curation, the committee ensures Liberty Lands remains a flourishing, welcoming environment for all neighbors.
