aBOUT THE pROJECT
The Liberty Lands playground has been a well-loved part of our neighborhood for nearly 30 years. Originally built by local families who fundraised and installed it themselves, it has served generations of children and is a symbol of community spirit.After decades of use, the playground has reached the end of its usable life and needs to be renovated to remain a safe and welcoming space for the community. The renovation was kicked off by four dedicated neighborhood parents, and continued through the Liberty Lands Committee with the goal of creating a safe, inviting space for children and their caregivers.Learn more about the renovation project and how to support below! The new playground includes two main sections for different ages: children under 5, ages 5-12. Take a look below for a sneak peek at the exciting new equipment coming soon!The renovation will be completed by November 2025 and will be followed by a grand re-opening celebration with the community and sponsors!
