NLNA board members are ambassadors to the neighborhood, and generally help solve problems and promote quality of life.The NLNA is a civic association for the Northern Liberties neighborhood. All board members are volunteers, and aim to provide services and programs beneficial to all residents and businesses in the neighborhood.
Board Member Responsibilities
Attend monthly Board of Directors meetings on the second Monday of each month
Chair or help lead at least one NLNA committee or project/initiative
Volunteer for various NLNA fundraisers and events
Stay in active contact with other Board members via the NLNA board email list
Be ambassadors to the neighborhood, and generally help solve problems and promote quality of life
Participate in overseeing the NLNA’s finances and internal operations
Board Elections
The NLNA Board of Directors has four officers, plus 11 at-large members. President, Treasurer, and six at-large members are elected in even years; Vice-President, Secretary, and five at-large members are elected in odd years. All terms are for two years.
